Pickup Location: Hotel in El Chaltén.

Start Your Day with Spectacular Views


7:30 AM: Departure Your guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel in El Chaltén in a comfortable van or minibus. The 18 km drive to the trailhead offers mesmerizing Andean landscapes, with the Rio de las Vueltas Valley and glimpses of Fitz Roy's peaks.


8:15 AM: Begin the Trek


Arrive at the trailhead near Rio Blanco. After a brief orientation, start your trek through a lush forest of lenga and ñire trees.



First Viewpoint: Piedras Blancas Glacier


9:30 AM: Scenic Stop


After a 1-hour and 15-minute walk, reach the first viewpoint. Take in the stunning vistas of the Piedras Blancas Glacier, capture photos, and enjoy commentary from your guide.


Reach the Campsites: Poincenot and Río Blanco


10:15 AM: Campsite Exploration


Trek for another 45 minutes to Poincenot Campsite, a vibrant hub for trekkers. Cross a suspension bridge to reach Río Blanco Base Camp, primarily used by climbers and featuring a ranger's shelter for emergencies.


Challenge Yourself: Laguna de los Tres Viewpoint


11:30 AM: Push Your Limits


Opt for an additional 1-hour hike with a 500-meter elevation gain to Laguna de los Tres. The spectacular views of the Fitz Roy Massif, its glaciers, and the pristine lagoon are worth the effort. Don’t miss Laguna Sucia, just a few meters away.


12:30 PM: Lunch Break


Enjoy your box lunch at the viewpoint, surrounded by breathtaking landscapes.


Descending with Scenic Stops


1:30 PM: Begin Your Descent


Head back along the trail, passing the serene Laguna Capri viewpoint. The peaceful waters and panoramic vistas make this a memorable final stop.


5:00-6:00 PM: Return


Arrive back at your hotel in El Chaltén, with unforgettable memories of your adventure.
